Macdonald Power - the new name of J N Macdonald & Co. Limited. Norman Macdonald has decided to retire after over 50 years in the marine business. J N Macdonald, started by Norman's father, has produced the finest Volvo Marine engineers in the country. Norman shepherded the business through many decades and multiple recessions and decided to retire late last year. Norman sold J N Macdonald to Sam Lindsay who wants to grow the business from the foundation that Norman has left.
